Using the qPCR system we can accurately quantify the number of copies from microbes, genes, copy numbers, and rare mutants. We have validated qPCR Single Tube Format for many common pathogens.
Microbes that can be detected with the Sexually Transmitted Infections Panel include:
- Herpes simplex virus 1
- Herpes simplex virus 2
- Trichomonas vaginalis
- Mycoplasma genitalium
- Mycoplasma hominis
- Ureaplasma urealyticum
- Gardnerella vaginalis
